I feel we'll look back 12 years from now and decide the DePietro and Richards contracts were completely ridiculous. Hell, the Vanek contract is that insane too! I mean, if these players underperform a BIT they've majorly hurt the entire franchise's chances of a cup, because of the cap issues. Hopefully FG can convince Stastny and Wolski that it's a bad idea to take super long contracts if the franchise wants to win a cup. 12 years is completely out of control.
