You will no doubt be shocked to hear this, but Peter Bondra has retired. I know, it’s a shock to me too. I mean, despite the fact that Bondra is 39 years old, played just 37 games last year, tallied just 67 points over the last three seasons, I could totally understand why people would assume he was still playing, despite the fact that he didn’t sign with anyone this summer.
Peter knows that you might be caught by surprise here:
“I kept it a secret for a long time. They will know overseas only after this press conference”
He also muttered something about Bruce Willis’ character being dead, but I don’t really understand that. I think it got garbled in the translation. THAT secret, it seems, is still safe.
