The Buffalo Sabres will be unveiling their new jerseys on September 16th. The ridiculous slug logo was leaked months ago. And now, thanks to SabreSFans.com, the jeresey has been leaked as well. Apparently, the Sabres put up a countdown to the unveiling with a blurred image of the jersey. Great idea…except the picture was decidely unblurred while loading. The Sabres pulled the image, but it’s too late to stop the screen caps.
I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by the jersey. The logo is still atrocious but the rest of the jersey looks pretty slick. Great color scheme, nice stripes, and the numbers on the chest is a nice touch. Now if they can just get rid of that dopey slug…
