Here’s the first semi-head scratcher of the offseason. Matt Schneider has signed with the Ducks. It’s a 2-year deal that averages $5.65 million - a 70% raise from his last season with Detroit. Not a bad haul for a guy who just turned 38. I assume this means Scott Niedermayer is serious about retiring?
