He's always talking to his linemates on the bench. He's the first to talk to the goalie. He's a vital piece to any team. He just makes you proud to be an Avalanche fan when he's out there. To me, that's invaluble. The differences between a Laperriere and guys like Gratton/Battaglia are miles and miles apart. Lappy is great in the community and is everything right about hockey.
