I'm just hoping Jones, Smyth and Svatos don't die of injuries.

I'll go along with the B. I thought his lack of speed killed his lines all year, though it didn't hurt his own production much. Like Dario said, the lack of speed hurt the PP too -- particularly in the worst part of the Avs' woeful PP last year, getting set up. Bruno is 100% worthless with respect to getting set up.

I still like Bruno, especially at his low salary, and he was the single best UFA signing in the entire league post-lockout. If he was on a team that was otherwise good at setting up the PP, had lots of speed to offset his lack thereof, and needed some around the net skill, I think he'd be great. Unfortunately, the Avs fit none of those criteria, and he's due for a big raise.

Sad to say, but he's gone. Here's hoping Jones, Smyth, and Svatos make us forget his loss.

For the love of Pete look at those line combos. I guess this will be pretty much the same across the top nine forwards on the team.

Bruno took over the ironman title when Keenan sat a HEALTHY Sarich in Calgary. I guess if Q was bad we could have always had the lockeroom cancer known as Keenan. In a year of injuries it was nice to have a guy you could depend on.

Bruno was a different player in the playoffs. He's got a bit of that Drury aspect to him. I guess I agree with you in that he's probably gone at 3 million, especially if Sakic does come back and gets his 6-7 million. Now if Sakic doesn't come back and the Avs can't grab Hossa nor Rolston then FG could have some extra cash. Then again he's going after Theo again and probably wants to tie up Stastny to a long term deal.

Bruno isn't sexy but he's reliable and a playoff gamer. At his price and the line blender he was part of I'm impressed with his year. I have to say that with Symth he's a bit reduntant on the powerplay and I think that was another akward aspect to the PP all year long.
