I've always thought of the sedins as playmakers, not goal scorers, so it didn't surprise me that they weren't in the shootout. I've also seen (and wish I could duplicate) wolskis move in the SO. What did surprise me was the svatos pick. I haven't seen his SO #s but he wouldn't be a pick for me. Just like sakic, goal scoring ability does not a SO victor make. But he proved me wrong, so what do I know?

My point is just that even though sakic, and the sedins, and even svats are prolific goal scorers in regulation, the SO is not traditional hockey and non-traditional players work better in it. (although some guys are studs in both)
