If you won't talk about Wyatt Smith -- I will. Why in the hell is he on the third line?! I've talked about how I like how he fits into the team as a 4th that can PK -- something that the Avs needed more of last year, instead of Rycroft. But he has absolutely no business on the 3rd, especially with more skilled players like Arnason and Svatos. He killed a couple nice possessions that Arnason and Svatos started deep in the offensive zone. He doesn't belong on the team if he's not on the 4th. that said, I do understand moving Hlinka off that line. Hlinka's size and board play is a pretty big issue, and a major reason that the 3rd is struggling. don't get me wrong, he's been a super addition to the team if only for how much better our PK is with him. But he may not belong on the 3rd.
