Fuck, I was originally about to post something funny, but Calgary just tied their game against Vancouver in the third (Please no 3 pt games)

Anyways, as the second 5 on 3 was called, listen to this Roger "my balls are in a vice" Millions gem:

"...and Alex Burrows accidentally on purpose knocks the net off."

While Millions is officially a royal piece of shit in my book, it is at least good to see the homer's verbal diarrhea doesn't only come out against the Avs.

P.S. Phadouche just scored to make it 3-2, and while I hate him, at least maybe this will prevent a 3 pt game.

What changed in this game compared to some previous games? First, Q stuck with his lines. Instead of putting the players in a rut, it almost seemed to energize the team in the 3rd when they realized they weren't going in to the line change blender. Second, Q took his foot off the panic pedal with Forsberg and restricted some of his time on the ice, especially in the 1st period. Calgary followed the Forsberg formula to start the game and shifted Dion out on him to start roughing him up. Q, skipped several shifts with Forsberg and it seemed to throw Keanan and Co. for a complete loop. He had trouble shifting out Phaneuf and it threw off their defense and Phaneuf as well. I might be crazy but it almost seemed like Q waited to shift out Forsberg until Phaneuf had played a particularly long shift. Third, Q took Liles off the first power play unit. I know the power play didn't get a whole lot done on the stat sheet except for the rush and fortunate bounce off Forsberg's skate. But, I thought the PP was a lot fresher and effective as a whole. By Salei starting the PP they got a guy who holds the zone and isn't shy about shooting the puck. It stretched the defense higher in the zone and made more room for the guys down low. Several times we saw the forward get room to skate out front, we haven't seen much of that all year. As a bonus, Liles coming off on the second powerplay unit seemed to energize the powerplay instead of deflate it. Before, if we didn't score in the first minute of the PP there would be a real deflation of the team on the second half of the PP. Now, with Liles coming off the bench with Wolski, Forsberg etc... there's a real spark. I think when you can keep that momentum in the second half of your power play that puts a LOT of pressure on the 2nd defensive unit and can create a lot of opportunities.

Good riddance to Roger "my balls are in a vice" Millions and Charlie Whoopdiefuck. They are the worst PBP team in the league, and its a shame we had to put up with them for 8 games (for those of us on CI).

You hit the Nail on the Head.
Forsberg is pure bonus material.
Lappy played like an 'A' tonight (something I had been wishing he would do more of lately).
The Avs win when they are AGGRESSIVE.
