Colorado lines up against the Blues tonight…if Blizzard 2.0 doesn’t wipe out another game. The teams meet again Saturday in St Louis. The teams have split the previous two matchups, each by a 4-1 margin.
The Blues are in Denver (they flew in early to beat the snow), so the status of the game will depend solely on the snow.
Not surprisingly, Peter Budaj will be in net tonight. Patrice Brisebois is out (back), and Marek Svatos is expected to return (groin). With Brisebois out and Leopold still out, Colorado has recalled defenseman Kyle Cumiskey from Albany. Cumiskey, a puck-moving defenseman said to be in the John-Michael Liles mold, is leading the River Rats in scoring.
Hot: Wojtek Wolski, 5 points in the last 2 games
Not: Milan Hejduk, 4 points and -2 in 10 games in December
