I think most of us suspected this, but now it’s finally getting put into print - the injuries to Joe Sakic and Ryan Smyth may be more serious than initially thought. According to Adrian Dater, Sakic has not skated since Saturday when he experienced more pain in his groin. Perhaps even more distressing is the talk that Ryan Smyth’s sore neck might be a significant injury. It doesn’t sound like either 6 million dollar man will be back on the ice soon.
