i asked my sister (a nurse) this same question. she said he probably tore out previous stitches and caused more damage in the game. the extra damage makes it really hard, if not impossible to stitch, and the stitches are that much easier to tear out as well, thus requiring rest.

makes sense to me. i also think he probably has gangrene, but that's just me. :)

Question: How does a laceration 'flare up'? You're telling me that he can't go due to this injury, which should be treatable with stitches and novacaine? Is it just possible that he is in fact guilty of some horrendous crime, and the State of Colorado only let's him out of the house X amount of days a month? Isn't that more plausible than his tendons are made of crepe paper, his bones of glass candy, and his soft tissue of marshmellows?

Leoprone has GOT to have the HIV or something. His immune system and injury recover rivals that of a 98-year-old rheumatoid arthritic grandmother of 17.

Every time Leoprone gets hurt, an insurance company has to fire somebody to cover the overhead generated because Jordan reaches his deductable in mid February...
