Maybe even Lappy or Ledin, though less likely. When (shockingly) other teams didn't value these dudes as high as they did, nothing got done, hence the weirdness of the Parker situation. All things being equal, I would rather have an A-Bomb of a fighter in my system somewhere as a safety net, but I don't blame Parker for not wanting to play AHL hockey. Assuming his financial situation is sound, going out every night and fighting a 19 year old for 1/5 of of his regular pay in a minor league system is not a hot deal for a player his age. Parker was/is an AHL legend. He took on entire benches and was worth the price of admision when he played for the Hershey Bears.
