Sent to the Avs’ American Hockey League, the Lake Erie Monsters, were: J.D. Corbin, left wing; Dan DaSilva, right wing; Brent Kelly, center; Mitch Love, defenseman; Victor Oreskovich, right wing; Andrew Penner, goaltender; Brandon Straub, defenseman; Michael Vernace, defenseman.
The Avalanche also reassigned defenseman Nigel Williams to his junior team, the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League.
Personally, I would have loved to see Mitch Love play against the Coyotes tonight…
And, damn, I need to make that quote format less ugly.
