		<description>Wow. I don't know who you two are talking about, but it sure as heck isn't Clark. The only player on the team last year who was even remotely close to being as defensively irresponsible as Brett Clark was Patrice Brisebois. The two are actually clones of one another.

I figured that the Avs realized what an awful mistake it was to pay this loser the $1.5m that he was getting, and that this would be the last season we'd have to see him in an Avs uni. Giguere is obviously not bright enough to recognize that, and that makes me sick.</description>

Definitely!  If it ends up being an overpayment, I don't think it would be by much.  He had more blocked shots than Skrastins our "shot-blocking" machine who makes $2.4.  Plus he chipped in with about 0.5 points per game and can move the puck out of the zone.  He's worth more than Skrastins.

Not even sure why I initially guessed at $2.25M for the new contract.  I'll pretend I was too engrossed in work to really think about it.  Yes, that's it.</description>
