The Avs spending spree continues. Today, they re-signed RFA Cody McCormick and also brought back Brian Willsie. Willsie was scratched 29 times by the crappy Kings last year. Then again, he did score 41 points with the Capitals a couple of years ago…and yes, I had to make sure my eyes weren’t tricking me there too.

Giguere made the quote, not Greg Sherman, and that seems to hint that Willsie is thought to have a shot at the big league roster…
