It’s not over, but things aren’t looking very promising. Johan Franzen - aka the Mule - notched his first career hat trick as the Wings toasted the Avalanche 5-1. Peter Forsberg didn’t play (he did take the pregame skate). And Scott Hannan was also a surprise injury scratch - sounds like that puck off the foot in game 1 was more serious than we thought. Honestly, even if Forsberg, Wolski and Hannan had been available for game 2, this team is starting to look seriously outgunned by the stupid Wings. It’s amazing how Detroit can turn a nothing play into a scoring chance in the blink of an eye.
