I had the privelidge of working with Mike at The Fan during the Grizzlies Turner Cup season and the first 3 seasons of the Avalanche (2 Stanley Cup seasons). This is GREAT news. Mike is one of the class A people I have met throughout my life along the way and is not only one of the best announcers in the business but a fantastic person. Your coverage of the Avs has given me some of the best times of my life! I’m up here in Montana, now, but we still get the Avs on cable. I about had a cow when I heard something had happened to you. this is great news. mike is a grade a human being. get well soon and continue to enjoy life. i worked in denver tv in the mid 90’s and dealt with mike during the first avalanche season. truly a class act. get well soon brother.
