“Toivonen, in my opinion, is a solid goalie.” That’s proof positive your game reviews are done in real time. This is my favorite line of the recap.

yep, I pretty much just let it flow now. I used to take notes by hand and then enter them in the next morning. I still kept it pretty honest, but it was rather inefficient. Now I just type as I'm going and uploading as soon as I get to the end of the game. There's more typos...but also more goodies like the Toivonen line.

I don't know how I missed the Guite hit. Shane mentioned it in his recap too and I just have no recollection of it.

Jibble, I swear it's that right side magic. It's like when Hejduk was playing shift after shift on the left wing right after the lockout. He did the same heal/toe drag move with the same result. He was in a huge funk. Hannan has looked much, much better.

19:36 Geez. Doug Weight scores on a rebound before most of the fans are settled into their seats after the intermission. Weight was parked in the paint, and Skrastins <strike>is…um, hanging on to Weight’s back.</strike>loses his ongoing battle with gravity to once again drop to the ice. Only this time he forgets that he can't block a shot when he's between the puck and the opponents net.

The Stastny line is looking flat out scary. It's looking reminiscent of the old AMP line.

Good observation on the defensemen at the point. Should we mention again that they backstopped a couple of goal? Yes, we should. Guite showed some real moxy last night. Taking that huge hit on his own end, then skating all the way back to the other end of the ice to lay a big check of his own.

Thank God we didn't have to watch Hinote celebrate another goal.

Last thing, we almost had a perfect storm of the smallest NHL lineup ever when Liles and Cumiskey were on the ice at the same time during the PP. There was a time when Hensiick and Svatos shifted together. If it does happen, that this union of speed shares the same shift I may have to put it on "Save until i delete status". Ah, good to see 80's hockey again.

Glad you mentioned Hannan's good play to keep the puck in on the 3rd goal. His play has been pretty good as of late.

"Liles and Clark again. I wonder if this is just for defensive purposes."

I laughed out loud at that.

Then I realized that you probably weren't being sarcastic.
