"but it gets more difficult to bash him so ignorantly when he stops allowing goals to be scored on him."

If he's allowing goals to be scored on him, then bashing him is not ignorant, it's warranted. Goalies, by trade, are not supposed to allow goals.

Also, why has it taken so long for Theodore to stop allowing goals to be scored on him? If he was such a superb goaltender, why have we all, justifiably, come to fear his every start in goal?

The Blender Of Feces does not waste time with trifling questions such as these.

Obviously Theo should have been first star of that game. He practically stole it. He's just so solid I can't imagine why Q never gave him a chance before this. I'm glad Theo has FINALLY got his one shot to prove himself. Maybe now Q will stop being so anti-Theo and give him some more chances. Yeesh, it took long enough. I mean, when you got such a dominate goaltender just splitting time with a nobody you just have to assume that he's in Q's doghouse. It's really a breath of fresh air when a goalie that's done so well can finally get a shot to prove himself. Thomas is spot on.

It's becoming increasingly clear to me that Coach Q is playing Theodore so much (and with so much luck so far) to sweeten his trade prospects. Theodore, no matter how good he plays this season, will not be back in an Avalanche uniform next year. I would almost bet on it.

And Thomas, nobody has blamed every goal scored on the Avs on Theodore. We all blame them on Brett Clark, duh.

Probably what we've all done in the recent past: pray his next game isn't the one he has his typical meltdown. At least that's what I do.

Budaj helped this team out tremendously late last season. We know what he can provide. Why is anybody interested in Theo getting the job long term? We know how that story ends too: inconsistancy and soft goals in big games.

Granted, when the Avs play as a well balanced defensive group in front of either goalie, it doesn't matter which is in net. I just find it more likely that Boots would overcome one of those nights than Theo. However, that's my opinion, and not likely shared by all.

Wait.. What? DD has blamed most of the goals on porous defense, and he's been right.

Another good write-up DD

Your JoeTed bashing has grown quieter lately. I realize you blame each and every goal on him, but it gets more difficult to bash him so ignorantly when he stops allowing goals to be scored on him.

What are you going to do now?
