You know, now that I think about it, one of the two may have been at AHL rink. But it still would have a bearing on the NHL.

there were two people killed? I only recall the one in Columbus.

anyway, great point. I still don't like it, but I can see where you're coming from

Cumiskey is doing ok, but I'm not really geeked about putting him up with your top guy (Hannan). I think I'd rather see Liles up with Hannan and Cumiskey back with Finger.

As for the puck getting shot out of the rink being a penalty. I for one find that because of this penalty, the puck get shot out many fewer times than before, and proves to be incentive for players to work a little bit harder on making sure they play it off the glass. It has 2 results: first it cuts down on the number of stoppages in play (those pucks that go off the glass instead of out don't tend to go all the way for icing), and second, it reduces the instances during a game of a puck going out (and possibly hurting a fan). I know the two girls killed in NHL arenas were killed by deflected shots rather than clearing attempts, but that doesn't mean one couldn't do serious to a kid or an adult.
If making it a 2 minute penalty reduces those instances, I'm all for it.

clark has had a solid couple of games in a row here, and sauer + him is just as good as last year. Cumiskey is showing he belongs too.

i thought wyatt smith had a decent offensive game, though i'd still prefer richardson out there. all in all a well rounded game for the Avs, something we haven't been able to say about them very often the last few years.

I’m sure on Altitude, Peter McNab is raving about how hard Marek Svatos has worked this year.

Yup

Also Clark looks 100x better when paired with Sauer. I don't know what it is, but to be honest we should just stick with the defensive pairings from today. They all played well, and seem to all play well together
