I'm under the weather today, so no thoughts on Forsberg, no recap, etc.

I have one quick point I want to make on the game last night. On the first whistle, just seconds into the game, the Avs iced the puck. McLeod went in towards Phaneuf and Phaneuf gave McLeod a pop in the face. If you're McLeod, how do you NOT respond to that? This is the same Phaneuf who chickened out when you tried to fight him earlier in the season and now you're letting him get a free pop in like that? I thought him backing down - for whatever reason - set the tone for the Avs. I can't help but think if McLeod responds differently there, it's a different game early on.

I am interested to see your Foppa piece. I think he would be much more effective if used properly. Then again I feel like that about the majority of this team.
