Theo's worst game (IMO) in his recent stretch was the 4-3 win over Florida on the tail end of a back-to-back. Budaj played pretty poorly last night. I realize Weiman isn't really an option, but when Theo is healthy whoever ends up being the starter should not be playing on the second day of back-to-back games. Well if anything this goes with my thought that goalies should never play games on back-to-back nights, unless they are world beaters like Luongo or Broduer.

I'll admit Budaj was not on his game tonight. He'd better be thanking his posts for three saves as well. Defense wasn't all that great in front of Boods either. Weird how he was stellar last night and lost yet got the win tonight with a poor performance. However, that Blues power play goal was a thing of beauty...no goalie is going to stop that. Again Arnason looked like he was a hockey player and Hensick was the player we all that he was going to be during the pre-season. The Guite-Richardson-Laperriere line was giving the Blues fits every time they were on the ice. Nice to see Guite get 2 goals even if the empty netter took an Avalanche bounce instead of going wide...very wide. Good to get a 2nd win against Legace. Damn, I remember when he was in the IHL playing for the Las Vegas Thunder and he sucked. Hard to believe he is even in the NHL let alone one of the current best.
