I didn’t get the benching of Cumiskey in favor of Boychuk either. In the last game against Detroit Cumiskey gave Detroit fits. Really solid game by my usual dogs, Svatos, Hensick and Theo. However Skrastins didn’t let me down.

I actually didn’t mind how the team played tonight. Their offense was obviously off (except for Hensick, who was very good), but their defense, as a team, was obviously very good.

And man, what a game by JoeTed. If Idiot would show a little confidence in him, we might actually see this on a regular basis. The whole “start you till you lose” thing is ridiculous, and only makes both goalies jumpy.

But Q’s an awful coach. That’s nothing new.

Did they call up Wyatt Smith and put him in a #7 jersey? Seriously Boychuk is completely invisible on the ice. If you’re going to dress a D guy there, might as well make it Cumisky.

Is it terrible that when Detroit scored to make it 1-0 i thought the game was over. I didn’t think there was any chance the Avs would get a goal. I know Sakic and Smyth are out, but the offense, not just the PP, looks terrible right now.
