they were homers (in retrospect, the faux porn name “Jiggs McDonald” should have been a giveaway). But more frustrating than the homer thing was the fact that they knew absolutely nothing about the Avs. They couldn’t pronounce anyone’s name, they referenced the fact that Wolski was a natural centerman, and, worst of all, said that Theodore was a better goalie than Budaj.

I know they don’t see us all that much thanks to this stupid schedule (the last time the Islanders visited Denver was 1999), but would it have killed them to do a little research?

In the MHH preview thread, I tried to name 5 Islanders off the top of my head. It took me a while, but I did it. Except one of the guys I named was Tom Poti. At least I didn’t say Alexei Yashin.

RE: MHH thread - I noticed that, but you were able to recognize the Islanders as a REAL NHL team, more than I could do BTW, so I gave you partial credit.

Peter McNab must be downright masturbatory right now.

He had already… umm we’ll say erupted, about DiPietro’s play tonight. He did make it clear that he would totally cuddle with Wolski tonight though.

And it sounds like the Isle’s announcers are really big Homers (I got the Alt. Feed tonight, obviously).
