04.12.08Injury updatesYes, most of these were covered in the recap, but I wanted to post them separately as well, just to keep them in the same place... David Jones, who limped off in the 2nd period, was in a walking cast after the game (according to Terry Frei) but no further details have been released (shocker, I know). The Avs are off today, so I don't know that we'll know anything more until tomorrow. Martin Skoula played (and played well) and had 26:12 of ice time. I'm thinking his leg is okay. 04.12.08Game 2: Wild 3, Avalanche 2 (OT)For the 2nd game in a row, the Avalanche and Wild played a game that either team could win. Unfortunately, it was the Wild getting the lucky bounce in overtime last night and they tied the series at one on a goal by Keith "The Sniper" Carney. This was another tight game featuring hard hitting, excellent defense and solid goaltending. As in game one, the Avalanche jumped to the lead when Peter Forsberg found himself on the ice against Sean Hill and Martin Skoula instead of Brent Burns and Kim Johnsson.
