04.01.08No Foolin!Start growing the playoff beards, boys and girls. The Avalanche have clinched a playoff berth. The Avalanche didn't get help from Nashville or Calgary. In the end, they had to get into the playoffs the hard way - by winning. The Avalanche fell behind Vancouver 2-0, but stormed back with a 5-minute outburst in the 2nd with goals by Liles, Hejduk and a dandy by Wojtek Wolski. And then Peter Forsberg iced it on a breakaway goal in the 3rd. Great game, great win, great to see the Avs back in the playoffs.

04.01.08Notes: Game 81, Colorado at VancouverThe Avalanche didn't get a playoff spot handed to them tonight. St Louis took a 3-0 lead against the Predators but Nashville clawed back in it, tied it in the 3rd and won the game in OT. The Avs need to win clinch now, and are facing a Canucks team that has just been bumped into 9th.
