12.28.07Hensick follows Jones to AHLAlthough I still can't find any official news that David Jones was sent down to make room for the activation of Brad Richardson, he scored for the Monsters last night, so I guess we can officially say that he's unofficially been reassigned to the AHL. TJ Hensick is following him, and this one's a bit more official. I'm glad to see him going down so that he can get some top-line minutes. 12.28.07Recap: Detroit 4, Colorado 2Close, but no cigar. The Avs hang in pretty well against the rolling Detroit juggernaut (22-1-1 against non-Central division teams), but couldn't find a way to get the equalizer past Hasek the dinosaur. In the end, Detroit won 4-2 and the Avalanche failed to collect at least a point for the first time since December 12th. I was an occasional Avalanche fan transformed into a die hard Avalanche fan when a certain Ray Bourque was traded to Colorado on my birthday in 2000.
I opened up the Cheap Seats in August of 2006, and have been babbling about the Avs ever since. I also contribute on a somewhat weekly basis to Mile High Hockey.
