12.13.07Notes: Game 31, Colorado at NashvilleColorado is in Nashville tonight. I'm extremely pleased to report that I lucked into the Altitude feed tonight. Having to endure Terry Crisp for two hours might have made me snap tonight. Arnason is out tonight. The way Haynes and McNab were talking, it sounded more like an injury than a well-deserved healthy scratch. Hlinka will be at center tonight (after getting a little taste at the position last night). 12.13.07Recap: Columbus 4, Colorado 1Welcome back to earth, fellow Avalanche fans. The Avalanche followed up their 9-goal outburst on Sunday with a 16-shot, 1-goal performance against Columbus. Our temporarily high-powered offense was turned into cannon fodder (these guys love when I mention that cannon). While the Avalanche played a strong defensive game, they had you-know-who in net to let in a couple of soft goals, and lost 4-1. The game itself was relatively even, and featured excellent defensive play throughout. Each team managed just 16 shots. I was an occasional Avalanche fan transformed into a die hard Avalanche fan when a certain Ray Bourque was traded to Colorado on my birthday in 2000.
I opened up the Cheap Seats in August of 2006, and have been babbling about the Avs ever since. I also contribute on a somewhat weekly basis to Mile High Hockey.
