11.05.07Notes: Game 13, Flames at AvalancheI'm watching the Flames broadcast tonight. Roger Millions is doing play-by-play. Instead of Charlie Simmer, though, the color guy is – and I'm not making this up – Theoren Fleury. The other Theo, Jose Theodore, is in net tonight,playing against Mikka Kipprusoff 1st Period 20:00 Stastny, Hejduk and Wolski start the game. 11.05.07What’s Swedish for “Motherfucker”?The Peter Forsberg Comeback Tour Bus has suffered some sever engine troubles. Forsberg had recently joined the Swedish national team to take part in something called the Karjala Cup - an international tournament. The stint was supposed to be a warmup for Forsberg and was expected to show that his ankle was recovered and ready for some hot NHL action again. 11.05.07Preview: Calgary at ColoradoThe Avalanche hope to rebound from a disappointing effort against the Canucks on Saturday. The 2nd place Avalanche (16 pts) face the 3rd place Flames (15 pts) in a key divisional matchup. Some might even say "must win". Both teams lost on Saturday. The Avs have won the first two meetings this year, even though the Flames had leads in both games. Both games went beyond regulation.
